An online radio station in Lekki, Lagos State seeks to employ a Radio Manager

Job Description

Oversees and coordinates the continuous, multifaceted daily operations of the radio station, ensuring compliance with broadcast standards.

Maintains accurate schedules, records, discrepancy reports, and follow-through communications.

Participates in the establishment, organization, and implementation of short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures, monitors and evaluates program effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement.

Plans, designs, establishes, and maintains organizational structures and systems that enable community volunteer staff members, interns and program hosts to effectively accomplish the organization's mission, goals, and objectives.

Assigns, allocates work, and generally oversees volunteer personnel engaged in continuous station operations; performs recruitment, training, scheduling, retention, problem resolution, and performance management.

Coordinates the airing of all programs consistently and year round, seek new program hosts and collaborations.

May provide services as an on-air host or presenter , as required. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

The Ideal candidate must have
sufficient and verifiable experience in radio management and multimedia audio presentation sufficient knowledge of the use of studio equipment (hardware and software); be social media compliant and able to map out winning strategies to promote the station; be able to work with little or no supervision; good communication; time management; and interpersonal skills.
