Business Goal: Generate fixed deposit for the business and manage key account relationships.

ABOUT COMPANY: Our client is a foremost financial service Group that offers financial services such as Securities Trading, Consumer Finance, Principal Investments and Financial Advisory to a range of clients across Africa.

JOB SUMMARY

Building and managing strategic relationships for fixed deposit customers, serving as the single point of contact for new business as well existing portfolios..
Manages the funds of HNI (high net worth) customers.
Understanding the key trends related to the client's industry or domain and providing value-added solutions / suggestions to the client.
Demonstrating an understanding of the client’s domain of activity and responding to the customer’s high priority needs for service and support.
Understand loan portfolio targets and ensuring we have the right solution for creating adequate liquidity.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties)
Building relationships including executive level relationships with Fixed deposit (FD) customers.
Managing relationships, new business and delivery aspects of the engagement..
Effectively manages fixed deposit and provides status updates to clients
Proactively define, drive and track potential FD customers.
Mentoring relationship managers/leads & team members to ensure that they are delivering a professional, high quality, high value and responsive service experience to the client.
Forecasting and managing resource requirements optimally.
Serving as the primary escalation point for clients and obtaining client confidence in managing their funds.
Ensuring clear and timely communication and reporting of status of various projects to internal and external stakeholders
Achieving overall customer satisfaction with FD customer.
Define and execute territory/account sales plans for FD and meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities.
Manage and track customer and transactional information in a CRM system.
Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including product creation and support
Consistently building a credible pipeline of potential customers with a high conversion rate.
Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through the CRM system.
Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.

Supervisory Responsibilities and Reporting

Manages, coaches and mentors relationship managers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business related field
Minimum of 10 year relevant experience in a similar position.
Demonstrated proven track record as an Account Manager in funds generation.
Experience of managing customer relationships and ‘farming’ client accounts.
Experience with engaging C-level clients.
Experience of selling solutions across multiple service lines.
Excellent communication skills, inter-personal and relationship management skills.
Demonstrated experience in funds generation, planning, excellent people skills, possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment to corporate mission,
