The Lord fights for the innocent. No matter the accusations levelled against a man whose conscience is clear he remains triumphant. Whether politically or religiously motivated those who bear false witness to see the fall of the righteous shall know no peace and when the storm is over, shame shall be theirs.
In the justice system a man is never convicted until proven guilty (I don't know about Nigeria). If you are bold enough to say the truth you better be ready to back it up with facts.
Those calling on the church to fight for apostle Suleiman should know that the fight is not the church's. The church cannot take part in a fight it does not have proof. Who will the church fight? Is it the Lady who even though of easy virtue is a Christian or his fellow pastors who might be fuelling such profanities. Is it the politicians who are after him for unguarded statements? The church is wise enough to know that between the two parties it cannot condemn for judgement belongs to God.
We live in a country where the truth comes from fanaticism and extreemism with limited appeal to common sense.
No man is perfect. Touch not the anointed but don't stifle a cry for justice no matter where it is coming from. All we can do is pray and ask for guidance from the Lord while using our common sense to sieve out the truth. Do not be fast in condemning the wh*re just because her trade alone makes her guilty. Her story maybe inadmissible and illogical but behind every smoke there might be a fire. Don't quote me. Just speaking my mind
