Hello all..just got the samsung J7 2016 few hours ago after alot of search..however what's written on the pack is ''For central Asia and Mongolia only'' does that imply i wont be able to use it here in Nigeria? your honest opinions please because im thinking of buying it.

Did you buy it online? Is it still locked? Well some phones are meant for different region, have u tried it and is it working with ur sim card

I got it at a store here in Abuja actually..im scared of opening it to see if it will work self ..abi i should just return it jeje

Well it could work o just I just recently unlocked a Samsung phone not meant for Nigeria region, but at first it didn't quite work well but the best thing to do is call Samsung customer centre, it's toll free if u want their number I can give u now

Did the phone later work well after the unlocking?

Well after unlocking it was hard for people to hear me whenever I called or they call me, but after I put a call through to the Samsung care Centre, I was told to do some stuffs on the phone, but it's working since then sha, but it does not support 3G, just edge and 4G. But I don't have 4g yet in this place. But its better u call the Samsung help desk. Before u unbox the phone

Abeg bros I need the number too o. My galaxy don dey craze. None of the apps in my phone, except browser, Facebook Lite, and whatsapp dey gree load o. The thing come be like say data no dey reach them. Even YouTube, jiji, Facebook (main one), playstore, etc no dey load.

Update:so i put in my sim and it worked..apparently maybe they had unlocked the phone or something..had to change the language from vietnamese to english..seems its fine..will study it sha..thanks much for the help
