Between French and Spanish, which one is a better language

I'm studying french but people always encouraged me to study spanish but I refused
So, guys which one would you have chosen if you were in my shoes.

Spanish is simpler than french.but french gives more popularity than spanish.Studied french for 2months during service in lagos but left for something else

French ko francais ni. Spanish is the most romantic language. I just like the efizzy they put into it. I wish we were taught Spanish in high school instead of that stupid French that one word didn't stick to my brain.
