How i wish the Nigerian police were active like this when madam Bridget and madam Eunice were slaughtered in Kano and abuja.

There were arrests in the Kano incidence and the suspects charged to court; however, they were not convicted for lack of evidence; so please stop spreading lies.

This is a lie... they settled the issue after which some Hausa men killed a man, a pregnant woman and some kids ..the people got angry and retaliated..killing the people was not bad enough, they(Hausa) paraded their dead bodies on wheel barrows. That was what made everything bloody. If na una won't you fight??
Am in ife currently and the Hausa people started it. How come no single Hausa was paraded.
Hausa people attempted to kill their seriki..he had to be guarded by chiefs in ife...where are the attackers??

on top of all that,

your senator donated gift item to the hausas, just to pacify them.

Yeah.. It's still same thing. It means madam Bridget and Eunice were denied justice in the north.

And the police are trying to get justice for those killed in Ile Ife
Why didn't the police arrest actual suspects in Kano and abuja

Why didn't the IG send operatives from abuja like he did in Ile Ife .

And why are the suspects even in abuja and not OSUN STATE

They'll be released.

It's all a smokescreen to prevent reprisals in the north - reprisals that will most likely consume more yEasterners than Yorubas.

The looooonatics from the yEast aka yEasterners shouldnt see this as anything less than that.
u must be proud of this poo u typed!

I can't find in this report where the Hausas cut the head of a Yoruba man, put it on a stake and started carrying it about as being claimed by Fani-Kayode!

to those claiming most fulanis commit atrocities and go unhurt..that's untrue..many fulanis are in various prisons in the country..the problem is their imprisonment is done with much plump and media fanfare compared to when other ethnic groups are arrested!

It is really sad when we see things like this happening. The fight was between the Yorubas and Hausa/Fulani. Now you arrest only the Yorubas and leave the Hausa/Fulani. Why not arrest both parties and charge them to court for breach of public peace and security breach. We are watching you all closely.

Your logic stinks to high heaven and reeks of stupidity.

How can you seriously equate those single incidences to this mass killings that if not managed carefully could set this country up in flames?

Have you even stop to contemplate the massive consequences should northerners also take retaliation against Yorubas in the north for this unprovoked attack?

Note, there were arrests and prosecution in those individual cases (at in Kano) but the court could not convict the accused, not because of lack of the will to prosecute them but due to lack of evidence to convict them.

In the present case, the process is not yet complete because there have also been arrests but no prosecution yet while investigation into the matter is still ongoing- pls go and receive sense, since you obviously need some.
You should allow for the process to be concluded before opening your big bigoted mouth.

The Yorubas and the middle beltans are the biggest fools in this country. They will continually reap their rewards in the hands of Fulani their self adopted masters. How many Fulanihas been paraded since they have been killing randomly in Nigeria?

your arguments is very stupid. According to you, it's only the north that has the right to violence without fear of reprisals in other parts of the country

Will you STFU,

Who's scared of retaliation is it just today you guys started killing southerners in your region?

You bloody murderers killed innocent corps members unprovoked, did anybody retaliate here?

You are an hypocrite, one who keeps quiet when others are been killed and seek for justice when his tribes men are on the receiving end.

To you madam Eunice and madam Bridget are individual incidence that doesn't deserve to be properly investigated by the police and justice being served because probably they won't be retaliation in the south.

Let me tell you, any killing hat has a religious undertone is capable of setting the nation ablaze. But southerners are not savages like you people. They thought they could get justice, guessed they were wrong.

The Kano state government appealed for peace and promise to prosecute the offenders only for the attorney general to advise the court to release them. .Now hypocrite tell me where's justice in this.

You arrested some people just to douse tension In other part of the country and later released them for lack of evidence . Is that really fair?

A Kano Magistrate Court presided over by Jibrin Muhammad yesterday freed five suspected killers of Igbo woman, Bridget Agbahime.

You northerners are hypocrites and most of you on nairaland are really stupid . You just exposed yourselves by trying to downplay the religious killings being perpetrated by your people in your region.

And no one has the monopoly of violence.

Always try to demand justice at both ends.

Aboki i pray you have sense sha. Oloriburuku

"The 74-year-old trader was killed at Kofar Wambai market for alleged blasphemy.
Muhammad’s decision was based on the directive of the Kano State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice."

Done well to keep the peace by mentioning the name of Lawarikan Ademiluyi who wasn't in Ife the day the fight happened but just because they had dispute over their land( he wanted to collect and sell their land ). He asked for the arrest of his own people leaving the hausa's alone.

He no try abeg!

The question is: who did the killing or incited it and are there other crimes committed?

All these 'his people' 'their people' will not help matters.
