Inter-African partnership like this is what African nations ought to be pursuing, not partnering the west which always exploit us. There's much more we can do on Africa to Africa front. 1 Like |

PapaBrowne: It was a dumb move to critic what you know little about. Ever heard of multiplier effects of economic policies? Think about the fertilizer value chain. Or just read more. And where did the NNPC GMD mentioned that the 50,000 jobs where created at the blending plants alone? Learn to read with open mind so you won't expose your ignorance and bigotry. Meanwhile, Morocco is supplying Phosphate NOT fertilizers. In case you don't know Phosphate is one of numerous ingredients blended to get fertilizers. Yes, Nigeria have huge deposits of Phosphate but we don't mine it yet. And before you talk about why we don't mine instead of importing from Morocco, think about the investment requirements and the benefits of short term solution of cheap fertilizers for farmers. |

vcente: Phosphate importation NOT fertilizer importation. Big difference. |
Re: Nigeria, Morocco Deal Creates 50,000 Jobs by Bolster(m): 3:02pm On Mar 24, 2017 |
Infinitikoncept: That 50,000 jobs created likely includes jobs created along the fertilizer value chain not just at the blending plants. It is called Multiplier Effect. |
