I have changed my Mercedes Benz CLK 230 fuel pump 3times in two months, my mechanics keep telling me to change it. It's really frustrating. There no time I travel with the car without regrets. What can I do? |

I know the economy is bad n we cannot afford enough money to buy fuel, OP, buy brand new pump, do not listen to that tokumbor crap, get someone to bring down your fuel tank, let them wash it before you install the new pump. And do not drive your car untill the fuel tank is completely empty |

Do you have a check engine light? Although a fuel pump problem would most likely not throw a code(at least for Japanese cars, Benz may be different) I have seen Kazeems change fuel pumps repeatedly for knock sensor problems. What exact problem does your car have? 1 Like |

It's just fuel pump. It doesn't move well wen the car gets hot. I have scanned with diagnostic machine and no fault was detected. |

kunlefemson: I had same issue on BMW, i was told it was fuel pump and even advised to buy v8 fuel pump instead of v6. I changed fuel pump, it didn't work. Was asked to replace throttle body too which i didn't replace. In the end, it turned out to be my air flow meter sensor that's bad causing it to be sluggish and idling roughly. Scanning won't bring out faulty fuel pump. U can disconnect air flow sensor and see if it works so as to isolate the issue |
