There is nothing sequential in your explanation.

Re: Can You Answer This In Ten Seconds? by Ajasco222: 6:00pm On Mar 28, 2017
First Number X Second Number + The number that comes before the second number ---- that's the logic

So the last answer is 98 ---- 10 x 9 + 8 = 98

Re: Can You Answer This In Ten Seconds? by noziz(m): 6:03pm On Mar 28, 2017
the answer is 119 simple quantitative reasoning that my younger nephew can do!

solution subtract 7 from 23 u get 16. add back 16 to 23, u get 39 meanwhile the common difference is 8 which is constant. then add that 8 to 39, u get the next number which is 47. continue this process to get the next number. therefore the answer is 119

e clear sey many persons here no know quantitative reasoning. most people dey get wrong answer. i am not surprised cos most Nigerians can't reason. that is y it is called Q.R grin

Look at ur sequence well. The next number to be added is 9.
I mean 1,3,5,7,9. Why did u use 8.

if talking about sequence, 9 is what to be added because from the question, the first digit of the last question is added to the next multiplication, anyway I'm open to correction if wrong. Thanks

Lool. There is na

98

3 x 2 = 6 ... + 1 = 7 (1 that was added is the number before 2 [the least number in the equation])
5 x 4 = 20 ... + 3 = 23 (3 that was added is the number before 4 [the least number in the equation])
7 x 6 = 42 ... + 5 = 47 (5 that was added is the number before 6 [the least number in the equation])
9 x 8 = 72 ... + 7 = 79 (7 that was added is the number before 8 [the least number in the equation])

10 x 9 = 90 ... + 8 = 98 (8 that was added is the number before 9 [the least number in the equation])

maybe there is a shorter way to explain this.. but the above is how i arrived at 98

You're right...

it could be prime (but 9 is not prime), so 11? Which means the next is 101?
