Our environment says a lot about who we are.

Our environment is defined as the surroundings or condition in which we lives or operate.

Keeping it clean is our responsibility.

A clean environment guarantees our health and the health of our children.

For some, they have the luxury of having a live-in help, or have someone that comes in over the weekend, but there are those who can’t afford this luxury.

Considering the hustle and bustle of the day, leaving early for work and coming back late, how do we create the time to ensure our environment is clean?

Below are tips to help you:-

1. Know that you have a part to play. If you are the man of the house, do your bit. All hands on deck.

2. Get a good foot mat and ensure everybody uses it before going into the house. People have the habit of only stepping on the foot mat without cleaning their shoes.

3. Get rid of what you don't need. This help you know the actual space you have to cleanup. Also, it reduces where dust and dirt gathers.

4. Let things be in their proper place. If you are in the habit dropping clothes and shoes where you remove them, your home will look untidy and un-kept. Keep shoes, bags and clothes in their proper place. A tidy space looks cleaner.

5. Don't wait till it’s all messed up.

6. Do what you can daily or have a daily schedule so you are not overwhelmed by the weekend.

Hope this has been helpful.

Kindly add to these tips, it will be highly appreciated.
