As earlier reported by LIB, the Bauchi State Police Command paraded crime suspects last week including two arrested for criminal conspiracy, incest and attempt to commit homicide. On March 24th at about 7am, police detectives attached to Gamawa Division arrested one Dije Abdulkadir, 20, from Gara ward in Gamawa LGA of Bauchi State. The suspect gave birth to a baby girl and threw her inside the well with the intent to kill her. However, the timely intervention of well meaning individuals in the area who helped and rescued the baby alive saved her life. Dije confessed that her biological father one Abdulkadir Mohammed, 55, impregnated her so when she delivered the baby, decided to kill her.
