Hello guys, so my laptop turns off around 50%.. it's a new battery and I've barely used it for up to 2 weeks.. This issue started when i used my laptop battery to critical state: 1%, allowing it to turn off... I can't recalibrate battery because as soon as it reaches 50% it turns off... what are your thoughts on this? how do i solve this problem?

@Op... it's more of a settings issue which can be solve by going to the power options from your battery icon... then go to advance settings option and locate the battery icon. you should get it solved from there.

@ khorlynz please can i also get a solution to mine too... Once i plug my laptop.. Its an hp laptop.. Its shows the red light that its charging and after 3 secs it shows the white light but in all the battery doesn't charge at all... Please what is wrong wif it... Thanks

Bad battery... i just got a replacement battery yesterday.. works great.. To prevent this issue from happening in the future, do not ever completely drain your battery to 0%, as this is what made my battery malfunction.

Please how much did you get the battery for, it's the same thing that affected mine too, the battery is gone

6k.. since i got the other one from them for 8k not long they had to give me a discount. Speaking of good customer service.
