Mine was N15k in 2003 as an accounts/admin officer of a private coy.

I have done well in developing myself since then and earn a little below N500k today.

when I'm done with the next phase of my self development, which will take up to 2 and half years from now, I will expect nothing less than N10m per annum.

So help me God.
Please bro add me in your whatsapp I want to ask you something. Am motivated by this you post.

Krucifax:
While I studied in London in the early 2000s I was on a salary of £12000 per annum which is about N5,800,000 today.
When I graduated and had a full permanent graduate salary role a couple of years back I was then on £32,000 per annum which is over N15,000,000 per annum at today's rates. I've since moved up by "a bit".

But the lesson I took from it is that I really didn't need the degree. If i had known then what I know now i would have gone down a different path and today I'll be earning double of £32,000. It was my Naija mentality and not realising that white people put priorities on different things to us Africans "in their country ".

Very true bro . . . My annual salary when I just got here (UK) was £12,000 after tax, It ddnt take me a lot of time to study the terrain and was quick to understand that Uni wasn't the way forward. I went on a professional IT course that lasted for just 3months and now I'm on £380 per day - Thats £91,200 annually.

My first salary was about N 2.73 as a 10 year old Form 1 student. By 15 I was earning N212.50 monthly as a Tana A3 plotting artillery strikes. Then left to pursue my dreams. Never looked back.

While at the tail-end of University, I was doing online content creation/creative writing for a foreign based website targeted for Africans back then in 2009, I remember that was the first money I made by myself, it was $140, I felt so elated! grin

I was sent the money using MoneyGram, back then money gram paid in dollars, I got the raw dollar cash from Fidelity bank and was feeling so cool, wanted to go to Aboki (Bureau de Change) and change it but was sceptical about them swindling me of my $140 grin ... so I just walked into Eco Bank and used official dollar to Naira rates and changed it, the bank official was telling me I would get more with the Bureau de Change folks but I said I don't trust them and I was very okay with the N21,500 worth in Naira grin I remember back then my school fees was roughly 22K for the whole session, so imagine how I felt having the value of my school fees as my own money that I worked for, flexing was on point! grin

God has been faithful, we are moving ahead and making great strides, please don't give up, hustle hard and be diligent in whatever you do, the breakthrough would ALWAYS come!
