Alevi muslims refuse to worship in mosques.
They are part of Turkey's 15 million strong Alevi Islam. Interestingly Alevi muslims believe in the Unity of allah, muhammed and ali, a doctrine which closely resembles the Christian doctrine of the Trinity. Although they say its not a trinity, Alevi's believe muhammad and ali are representations of divine energies, the first of which is allah.

Lady, what i meant with that statement was that because of the characteristics of their beliefs(which are very unlike that of the traditional islamic dogma indeed) they are closer to sufism.This is not a negative judgement of their belief but a show of appreciation.When i said that they are closer to sufism, i was not denying that they are a sort of islamic faction, but was just stating the nature of their belief system in a positive, appreciative and non-judgemental fashion.
