Nice post , but Page rank is no longer a metric used to determine the strength of a domain , infact PR is dead. The best metrics now are citation flow(CF) and Trust flow (TF) , also page authority (PA) and Domain authority (DA) are good metrics too 3 Likes 1 Share |

paulstrings: PR was a metric initially used by google to determine the strength of your domain..its usually between 0-10 . so the higher the number the stronger/ relevant your domain ( I think NL used to have a PR of 7 , not sure ) . The metric PR is no longer is use due to the fact that a lot of gurus have found ways to increase their PR by gaming the system. So other companies like Moz and majestic created ways to measure the strength /relevance of a domain . Moz created the Domain authority and page authority metrics (DA & PA) to measure the strength of a domain...usually between 1- 100 , just like GooglePR ..the higher the number the stronger the domain. You can check ur domain DA n PA at Opensiteexplorer.org the CF n TF is by majestic ,and it measures the same as those above .the scale is from 1-100 too and the higher the better . just google trust flow /citation flow checker to check the CF n TF of ur website . 2 Likes |
