The name is Atlor Asphalt company, opposite Shasha market Oba-ile in Akure, Ondo State,situated amdist so many houses around it and a very large population of Hausa community, despite modern clamour for safe environment and in the spate of increasing cancer in our society, it is very appalling to see this type of activities still going on in 21ST century Nigeria.Children and elderly leaving around this place are presently exhibiting signs and symptoms of respiratory illness.Every effort at curbing this activities had proven abortive as the owner had bought into both Federal and State agencies in charge of environment. Those leaving around this facility are in serious health danger, the necessary agency in charge should stand up to their responsibilities.It took the effort of governor Wike to see to eradication and stoppage of black smoke in Rivers state.Arakunrin Akeredolu should stand up against this.
