I have one acre of land , I have cleared the bush, I have started the ridges . But the problem I'm having is the issue of the goats around the area .

My plan was to plant cassava and maize , but the first day I started the clearing , when I saw up to 10 goats parading the cleared bush . my plan started fluctuating.

I have different opinions running through my mind.

First,
I am thinking may be I should make a fence round the piece of land (wooding one) to continue with my initial plan(cassava and maize). But the problem here is the cost of making a good fence.

Second,
I am thinking may be I should plant cocoyam , because , goats dont eat cocoyam.

Third,
I was told to put animal dungs there , but I don't think it will work for the said piece of land. For how many days will I be sprinkling it with animal faeces!

Please any suggestion will be highly welcome.

Thanks my people.
