IMO STATE with owerri as the capital happens to have the highest number of hotels, brothels and indigenous prostitutes in Nigeria ( vanguard 2009). Hotels and prostitution business generates the highest internal revenue for the state, some said it is women empowerment program / employment for women. IMO state have the most beautiful hotels in Nigeria, Owerri have become a place to hold conferences, companies end of year meetings etc, it will also attract prostitution. But Lagos and PH remains the highest in terms of Brothels. 2 Likes |
