SMT NIGERIA:
With 4 subsidiaries in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt, SMT Nigeria (formerly ATC Nigeria) is the Authorised Distributor for Volvo Construction Equipment (VCE), Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses and Volvo Penta in Nigeria. We began operations officially in 2009 and we are affiliated with the SMT Group.

SMT Nigeria is also the authorised dealer of the construction equipment (CE) of the Chinese SDLG brand (a leading, CE manufacturer in China, and one of the top global sellers of wheel loaders, whose majority shares, 70%, Volvo owns, leading to several improved modifications and progress with the brand like, the machines are quieter during operation, more reliable, last significantly longer, etc.)

Things you should know:

• Volvo CE (Construction Equipment)/ Volvo Trucks are divisions of the Volvo Group; hence VolvoCE/Volvo Trucks are wholly designed in Sweden. The quality of Volvo is still one to reckon with; as a matter of fact we have gotten better at developing very rugged, fuel-efficient and robust machines.
• We operate mobile workshops covering all the states in Nigeria.
• SMT Nigeria, through SMT Group in Europe can also facilitate a financial arrangement from European financial institutions to support your viable projects. In this regard, we have several financing packages which can be well adapted for your business based on your cash-flow and project requirements.
• We have service/maintenance agreements with most of the major oil/construction/logistics and mining companies eg., Lafarge Wapco plc, Southern Energyx (Eko-Atlantic project), BHN Logistics, APQ Quarry, Saipem-ENI, AG Dangote, Nestoil plc, etc.
• We maintain a very robust spare-parts stock for products we sell.
• We have a dependable logistics plan to ensure you get parts to our clients as soon as they need it. We equally maintain an active network with other affiliates of SMT Group especially in the Central & West African regions to ensure we get the required parts and equipment on-time to our respective clients.
• We stock a wide range of Construction and Road Maintenance equipment like Volvo FMX Tipper Trucks, Volvo FMX Tractor Heads, Volvo Mixer Trucks, Volvo Excavators, Dressta Dozer, and other special application/attachment on Trucks.
• We also stock Pipe laying equipment, Wheel loaders(Volvo/SDLG), Motor Graders, Articulated Haulers, Rollers, Swam Bogie, Pavers (Asphalt laying) and Volvo Penta (Boat engines and Industrial Generators).
