I remember when mourinho came back to. Chelsea and won the league,the next season he was out and they were 10place. I think what boosted Chelsea this season was because they were not in much competitions just PL they were out of Carling so early,and no European competition be it champions league,or Europa so its their year. and we hope they enjoy it..they just must not lose any match not even a draw. Liverpool were without European competition this season and also left fa cup early. Why are they not competing for the title lyk Chelsea?

Mr man, that's excuse is for those who failed!
If you're good, you are good, Bayern play in all competition yet they have won the league, real Madrid play all competition they are on the road to win double this season, (so by your claim) if by playing all competition can affect u win the league title then Sunderland, Middleborough, hull city should be contending for EPL by now because they play less competition games

Liverpool with their full squad lost to Swansea a relegation bound team, with their full squad lost to Hull city also a relegation bound team
Liverpool has the highest numbers of goals conceded among the top seven in EPL even middlesbrough that is 19 on the long conceded 45 goals while Liverpool conceded 42 goals, that's massive

The strength of a team lies in the defence but many people fail to realise this, why will you put "Cr7 and Messi" in a team and the duo will score 7 goals per game and the defence will concede 8 to 9 goals per game, that such a team can never be a contender for any title
