Once upon a time,
This man ran to Christ,
With a heart so dark with pain,
And a life so brown with misery's clay.

He did have my time,
This mind became Christ's,
With all the aches and quakes,
My world was turned without delay.

Though time after time,
This monster roars at Christ,
With all the many ups and downs,
Yet he whispers peace upon my fray.

Now I don't fret for time,
This soul moves with Christ,
With all the happenings around,
My Christ leads me through the way.
