1. The Apostles of the Lamb said that they would give themselves over continually to prayer and the ministry of the word. In other words we will be prayer addicts and word of God addicts. -Acts 6:4. 2. The Lord said, watch(to whether you are on track with the word of God) and pray. -Mark 14:38. 3. Apostle Paul said, taking up the whole of armour of God...praying with all manner of prayer in the Holy Spirit.In other words, in addition to being word based get your prayer belt on-Ephesians 6:13-18. To mention a few, we have men of God that shook the world ,having the testimony of a vibrant prayer life. 1.Apostle Babalola 2.St.Augustine. 3.Ellen G white 4.Charles G. Finney 5.John Wesley 6.Sadhu sundar Singh etc. IF APOSTLE PETER COULD SAY WATCH UNTO PRAYER BECAUSE THE END IS NEAR, HOW MUCH MORE NOW. BE VERY WATCHFUL UNTO PRAYER I SUPPOSE. -1Peter 4:7 |

Good post.... Don't know everyone on the list...but I know some and you are correct. They were powerful, prayerful men and women of God. |
