Khepri FF™ is simply de-hydrated larvae that are supplied in bulk to the pet food industry and small organic farmers.It can be fed to a number of insect eating reptiles and birds. Khepri Meal™ consists of highly nutritious dried defatted larvae that are ground into a high protein meal
Khepri Meal™ Dark rich texture with a slightly nutty flavour. Product can be supplied pelleted, crushed or milled for blending into animal feeds.
Khepri Meal™ can be blended into a variety of animal feeds and used just like any other protein such as fishmeal its nearest nutritional equivalent. It is specifically useful for the feeding of monogastric animals including chickens, pigs and fish.The product is cheaper than conventional feed based on fish meal, reducing the cost of animal farming. Preparation
The larvae is grown in decomposing waste like abattoir waste. They larvae are then harvested, sterilised and then dried under strict conditions at a very low heat to yield the highest quality protein. This protein source compares favourably with fish meal
