It is not beef. Olamide has a standing rule not to renew contract of label mates so they can go out there themselves. |

lifestyle1:Exactly, that is the point I wanted to make... Gold even tried for him to stay this far.. if their style and lyrics of music portrays their living lifestyle, I will say that Adekunle Gold is way not in thier category |

I don't do circular music though, but i read frm the post that two artists hv left him in less than a year nw. It's eida Olamide is greedy n doesn't treat these guys wel or he is a bad manager. #my_opinion. 2 Likes |

Afam4eva: Boss, Floating a record label is way different. You can ask the likes of Brymo and co.. This is a very important period in Adekunle Gold’s music career, as any decision he makes would shape future forever. Olamide was formerly signed on to ID Cabasa's Coded Tunes. He even released his first album (Rapsodi) under the label before the left to form his own.. |

Re: Have Adekunle Gold & Olamide Parted Ways? (see Details) by Afam4eva(m): 11:52am On Apr 23, 2017 |
Smellymouth:So, why did Olamide leave coded tunes and you want Adekunle Gold to remain. Was Olamide more popular when he left coded tunes compared to Adekunle Gold of today? The answer is NO. Even though i believe that artiste should stop floating record labels all over the place, the only reason why they're doing so is because the available record labels are not strong. They only use those platforms to gain prominence after which they'll decide to go solo. 4 Likes |

[You mean like airforce1 working under asa? quote author=0b10010011 post=55833672]I still use to wonder how both make good partners! One produces very good music with contents while the other solely makes noise on beats It's been a combo waiting to collapse right from time. Light has nothing to do with darkness, like wise Good music should not abide with Noise.[/quote] 1 Like |

Afam4eva: Only Olamide believed in Kunle's music from the start. Olamide, saw the potential in him and took him up. He made his first single (SADE) a Hit and did not stop there. Olamide made sure for every single dropped, It was a hit back to back. How many labels can do that? It is one thing to be signed unto a label who sees that a record or two can be made from you, it is another to have a label who believes in your passion, craft and person in general.. 5 Likes |

Smellymouth:No one is underscoring Olamide's input into his career but it wouldn't have been possible without Adekunle Gold himself. The dude is a talented mofo. So, it's more about him and his talent can take himplaces with or without olamide. Though i understand that sometimes, combos help. A case in point is Don Jazzy and Dbanj's debacle. 3 Likes |
