1. Facebook boasts of a massive 1.86 Billion users

Facebook currently has 1.86 billion users, which if it were a country would make it the most populated country on earth. Almost 80 percent of online users use Facebook, with a distant second, 32 percent, accounted for by Instagram (also owned by Facebook). In fact, Facebook and all of its partner apps and services account for a global average of 50 minutes a day of our time.



2. 500 million Tweets are sent daily

There are 500 million Tweets sent each day. That’s 6,000 Tweets every second. You’ll also be amazed that It took 3 years, 2 months and 1 day to go from the first Tweet to the billionth.



3. Approximately 5000 domain names are registered every hour

That translates the number to a whopping 120,000 Domains every single day and 43 Million domain names a year. The greatest irony is that more than 75% of Domains are not live. They are simply parked, that’s the reason why you don’t get your desired.com domain.



4. 250 Billion emails are sent out daily

No, these shocking numbers aren’t triggered by humans. The shocking fact is that 81% of all those emails are spam which are sent using automated means. That’s a whopping 200 Billion spam mails every day.

5. The world’s first website is still online

The first website created was info.cern.ch and it is still online and working fine. It is a very simple site and the page contains few lines of text. The page is written with the help of the first version of HTML.

Television took 13 years. While the radio took 38 years to reach the same amount of users.



7. 72 Hours of video contents are uploaded on YouTube Every minute

By the time you reached this paragraph, about 150 hours of videos have already been uploaded to YouTube. Talking about user engagement, the massive video sharing site serves 1 Billion people every month and an average internet user spends 4 hours every month on YouTube.
