Itching, redness, and swelling of the skin of the vagina and the surrounding area (vulva) is a common problem in girls before the age of puberty.
I recently noticed that My little niece had this. This really got me worried and so the medical me had to get to the root cause of this. After much investigation, it turned out to be a minor problem that was corrected.
