Seems you don't fancy a particular car, you need something common and easily fixed by technicians around. I will vote
1. Honda civic 2000 - 05
2. Toyota corolla E110 year 96-2000
3. Nissan sunny/sentra/Almera/primera 2001 upwards
4. Toyota Avensis 97-2002
I guess this one's will do you good and are OK. The only tokunbo suv in that your price range is Isuzu rodeo/Honda passport
