I just heard on radio 102.3fm 7pm Dibanji direct program, that Gov of Lagos state has ordered Vehicle Inspection Officers out of Lagos Road. So its a free way drive for those threatened by VIO on the road.

Yep, a colleague of mine explained what happened. . A man carrying his sick wife to the hospital got stopped THREE times by VIO for inspection. I think it happened in yaba where they can be on three or more locations on Herbert Macauley His pleas to get his wife to the hospital fell on deaf hears. Long and short, the woman died. Ambode heard and got mad. The rest is history. Besides we also heard they've been diverting funds to special accounts from offenders.
