Can we stop increasing youth cultism in Owerri as present Imo state govt attracts thousands more youths into Owerri? Present Imo government says it is building a Mega City in Owerri, to have a city to compete with big cities in the world. It builds more secondary schools and what it calls City Schools and higher institutions in Owerri, including a new IMSU Campus in nearby Mbaise; in addition to the five universities and polys already in Owerri.

Owerri and landlords thus fight to the last any governor that tries to relocate even one university from Owerri to Okigwe and Orlu where there is none.

Given the size of Owerri, too many youths cluster too close to one another. That is haven for cultism.
