It vowed to maintain safety standard on Nigerian highways in line with the global demand on Safety advocacy
Addressing Stakeholders in Awka at events marking The Fourth United Nations Global Road Safety Week and the Commemoration of the 2017 West Africa Road Safety Organisation, Sector Commander, Anambra Road Safety Corps, Sunday Ajayi outlined programmes mapped out for the event in line with international standards.
FRSC Corps marshal Boboye Oyeyemi represented by the Anambra sector commander outlined the global statistic that places Nigeria as a concern state with the highest number of road accidents in Africa with respect to it's population and number of motoring vehicles plying the nation's highways .

Listening to the corps target and plans put in place by Anambra state government to mitigate the number of road crashes in the state, Stakeholders at the event commended the federal road safety corps for it's lead role in ensuring that people experience accident free on wheels.
This year's United Nations Road Safety Week which was flagged off with a road show which attracted members of the Special Marshal Anambra State chapter,
Representatives of different transport companies and members of the National Youth Service Corps
