Why Do Nigerian Women Downplay The Importance Of Sex To Nigerian Men? by naijalander: 11:35am On May 11, 2017
Why do Nigerian women downplay the importance of sex to Nigerian men?

Nigerian women tend to carry this puritanical view of sex around thinking they are doing us men a favor with it. It is a known fact that Nigerian women despise sex and believe that not having sex some how equates to some kind of purity. In fact, if you are a Nigerian woman, society dictates that you a LovePeddler if you enjoy sex. Why is this ? Do quick research, talk to a female friend, if she asks you what you have been up to for example, reply her "I had sex last night with an old friend" then watch her reaction after that. Subconsciously, she has written you off as a model of morality.

Traditional Institutions come into play when examining this trend closely. Pre-colonial institutions were as misogynistic as one can imagine. There is generally a don't ask, don't tell policy about sex education in Nigerian society and given the fact that male progress is more important and female success is defined by marriage, no wonder a lot of women grow up viewing sex as a sin. Leads me to the next point;

Religious Institutions also play a huge role in propagating this trend. Extra-marital sex is a sin in religious doctrine and anything out side of missionary position is an even bigger sin in other doctrines. The result is women who are unwilling to explore their sexuality, from my experience, sex with a Nigerian woman is the most boring type of sex ever! No blow jobs, no doggy, even lube is an issue, no wonder Nigerian guys in the diaspora are known to sexually overactive, sexual freedom is a new experience for most of us.

These are same women who flock Joro Olumofin's page on Instagram to complain about how their husbands are cheating on them with some lady younger lady. To these women, sexual activity is abominable as such a man that enjoys sex to them is some kind of freak, maybe its the kind of women I associate with (spirit-koko) but it really is a general trend! Even the ones that actually enjoy sex try to keep things secret like its a big deal anywhere (coded that's what they call it). So you can't give your husband a good BJ, you can't even arch your back and take that D like a good woman and you want him to sit with you after a hard day's labor and talk about your neighbor's drama?? do y'all even reason at all??

I also blame it on hypocritical men! These men spend half their youth yanshing every runs girl in town and when its time to settle down, they start looking for tight pussy! Kill yourself if your one of them, better yet do us a favor evolve already !

To be honest, am not asking y'all to become porn stars, am only asking that you try. Open your mind, understand that sex is natural, you won't die or go to hell if you have sex and enjoy it, emancipate yourself from mental slavery. I'm not asking you to Bleep every guy that hits your inbox, am asking that when you do get married, do everything possible to satisfy your husband, also ensure you have these conversations with him before y'all get married. Some people have higher sexual energy than other so ensure your both on the same level of sexual drive.

I do not care who that guy is or what he's been telling you, MEN LOVE SEX, Pastors and Imams too, in fact I believe Eve was created to satisfy Adam's sexual curiosity. Imagine Adam in the garden of Eden walking around with his schlong watching all the other animals do it, of course he would have felt left out. Again don't get me wrong, women are not machines you put coins in and sex comes out, they are living breathing organisms like we are. I just feel some women recognize the need for sex in men and choose not to explore their options out of fear of being ridiculed by society.

Finally, it will surprise you to learn that women are the number one proponents of misogyny in Nigeria! As a woman, if you feel like sex is something men take and you give, then your the one objectifying yourself! Both men and women enjoy sex, fucking evolve already!

And Bleep you if you don't agree!

Lovely comment. For an 18 year old Nigerian girl, you sound very mature.
