More often than not, smartphones performance reduces and it isn’t because your Infinix smartphone is getting outdated. If there are no major issues with your smartphone it can be attributed to Cache. What is Cache? Cache is a collection of data duplicating the original content of a website or application stored elsewhere on your Infinix smartphone. There are basically two type, the Application Cache and Browser Cache. While Application cache are duplicating files downloaded by your application, Browser cache are files downloaded by your browser to display websites. Why do you need to Clear Cache? (1) Clearing Cache free useful Storage spaces as cache files take up a lot of space on phone internal memory. (2) It free up the RAM memory as Cache files increase the RAM usage of your smartphone. (3) Cache clearing is also important when troubleshooting a number of problems that may arise because of corrupted cache data (4) Cache files are not perfect. Poorly designed websites allow you to cache pages even after the contents became stale which result in discrepancy of data between the source and the cache Here is how to clear cache for all the Android apps in a go? (1) Go to Settings menu of your Infinix smartphone (2) Under settings, Click on Storage, USB and Tap (3) Tap on Internal Storage or Memory card (Depending on the Storage where you want its Cache to be clear) (4) Click on Cached Data and a Pop-Up will appear (5) Tap on OK to completely erase all cached data from your smartphone. Did you know you could also clear cache for an App on your Infinix Smartphone? Here is how to: (1) Go to the Settings menu of your device. (2) Scroll down to Apps and tap on it. (3) Here you will find all the apps on your system, tap on the app for which you want to clear the data. (4) Tap on Storage (5) Tap on Clear Data to wipe the cache data for the specific app only. |
