Gaddafi wasn't a saint, but the worst of him have proven to be better than those tagged "best" who are still ruling, from Nigeria' backyard, upto those so called world powers.

I must give it to the man. He performed way better than the man he deposed in '69. When King Idris was in power Lybia was one of the most backward countries in Africa. I watched the documentary on #AJ and was astonished at how alot changed in such a short time. His main failing,in my opinion was not taking the hint like the Tunisian president Zin Ali and getting away when the fire was just starting. He should have just walked away to somewhere quiet and watched proceedings from afar.
