10 Tallest Buildings In Africa by MOSTEC(m): 10:14am On May 13, 2017
While not necessarily the first place one would consider for tall buildings, Africa has undergone a building surge in many of its cities. Though there are fewer skyscrapers in Africa than in North America or other countries, quite a few of the major African cities feature city scapes just as unique and recognisable as New York City or New Orleans, LA. The current headliner of the tallest buildings in Africa is the Carlton Centre of Johannesburg , but there are several buildings being planned that would be taller, including Nairobi’s The One and Ghana’s HOPE City. Ghana’s HOPE City is actually meant to be a technology playground, creating jobs for over 50,000 people and tempting dozens of
technology companies. It started construction this past June and is expected to take two to three years to finish the building. From now until 2018, it looks like there will be quite a few new sky climbing skyscrapers in Africa’s future. We’ve taken a look at the top ten tallest buildings as of 2013. Here goes the list.

This list is bound to change soon, as construction jobs have begun to flourish in many African countries . Especially with projects such as HOPE City in Ghana, Africa is become a great place for companies to build some truly breathtaking skyscrapers and apartment complexes. Ranging from Ghana to Zaire, Africa is on its way to forming some truly unique skylines.

Only one entry for the self acclaimed "giant of Africa" while South Africa has more than 2.... They should create an award for top countries where raw stolen cash can be found in private buildings then we can comfortably have the front ten seats...
