WHY IT'S NOT TRUE: Ostriches don't bury their heads in the sand—they wouldn't be able to breathe! But they do dig holes in the dirt to use as nests for their eggs. Several times a day, a bird puts her head in the hole and turns the eggs. So it really does look like the birds are burying their heads in the sand!

It is NOT true! If they are that dumb, they would have gone extinct! They have predators that prey on them. If true, predators would not need to run after them, won't need to hide to get closer to them. Just let the dumb ostriches see you and they will wait till you come and eat them! Do a little research by you will see it is not true
