Mary is referred to as a woman. You read the Scripture passage I provided so I was expecting you to show me where in the Bible it said that Mary is a Girl. Abi you don't know that there is a difference between a Girl and a Woman? grin

As for Solomon's polygamy is mentioned in the Bible as a bad example that Christians are not meant to follow. In fact, the Bible explicitly says that Solomon was led astray by his "many wives".

The problem with you lot is that you somehow believe that Christians worship whatever thing it is that you guys worship.
Once you are married, you stop being a girl even at the question of 10 years. If Solomon's polygamy is mentioned as a bad example what of this
Samuel 11:2-4 "One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, 'Isn't this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite?' Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her. (She had purified herself from her uncleanness.) Then she went back home."
Obviously we ain't worshipping the same God. Who in his/her right sense worships the created and not the creator?

Wow. With that kind of demented reasoning, it is easy to see why islamic countries are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to anything to do with learning and education. So marriage can magically transform a 10 year old girl into an adult with all the maturity and experience of an adult? Wonderful. It is only in Islam you will find such reasoning. In that case, let us allow 10 year olds to own voter's identity cards. Let us allow them to own driver's licenses and drive cars. In short, let us even vote for a 10 year old as our president since the old man we presently have is not living up to expectations grin

As for David, again you have raised another rather stupid and pointless example. David was punished for his sins of murder and adultery. In fact, God punished him by causing his family to kill each other and he died at a premature age. Just like Solomon, David is mentioned as a bad example which Christians are not meant to follow.

Meanwhile Mohammad married a 6 year old girl and also married Zainab the wife of his adopted son Zaid Bin Harithah and Allah congratulated him for doing so!

Indeed we DO NOT worship the same God!

The kind of demented reasoning your fore-fathers were part and parcel of. In fact in the United States, "girls" of 12-13 years were allowed to marry as early as the 19th century not to talk of more than a thousand years back.
Their society is quite different from ours. It's a different thing to marry a girl of 10years now. It was the norm then.
Thank God you've dropped the issue of divinity of Jesus.

Don't muslims have any shame? Is that why you keep repeating this lie? In the United States the age of sexual consent was lowered to 12 and 13 to prevent cases where children would be sent to jail for sexual offences. For example, in most states in America, if a 12 year old boy sleeps with a 12 year old girl, neither of them will be considered guilty of committing any crime. But if a 53 year old man has sex with a 10 year old girl, he will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

As for Christ's Divinity, I believe in Christ's Divinity more than I believe in life itself.

“When King David was old and well advanced in years, he could not keep warm even when they put covers over him. So his servants said to him, ‘Let us look for a young virgin to attend the king and take care of him. She can lie beside him so that our lord the king may keep warm.’ Then they searched throughout Israel for a beautiful girl and found Abishag, a Shunammite, and brought her to the king. The girl was very beautiful; she took care of the king and waited on him, but the king had no intimate relations with her.” (1 Kings, chapter 1, verses 1–4, New International Version.
And you said David died prematurely.
While the following details are not in the canonical Gospels in the Bible, it appears from other early Christian writings (known as apocryphal writings) that Mary was twelve years old when the temple elders decided to find a husband for her. They selected the husband by drawing lots, and Joseph whom they chose was an elderly man, being according to some accounts ninety years old. The husband was selected and Mary was handed over to him, and she played no part in his selection.
These accounts are summed up in the Catholic Encyclopedia, 1913 edition, which is available online, as follows:
“It will not be without interest to recall here, unreliable though they are, the lengthy stories concerning St. Joseph’s marriage contained in the apocryphal writings. When forty years of age, Joseph married a woman called Melcha or Escha by some, Salome by others; they lived forty-nine years together and had six children … A year after his wife’s death, as the priests announced through Judea that they wished to find in the tribe of Juda a respectable man to espouse Mary, then twelve to fourteen years of age, Joseph, who was at the time ninety years old, went up to Jerusalem among the candidates; a miracle manifested the choice God had made of Joseph …”

Neither the Aprocryphal books nor The Catholic Encyclopedia are considered by Christians to be inspired scripture and it is for this reason that they are not included in the Bible. The Apocryphal books had many flaws, errors and inaccuracies:

1. Not one of them is in the Hebrew language, which was alone used by the inspired historians and poets of the Old Testament.

2. Not one of the writers lays any claim to inspiration.

3. These books were never acknowledged as sacred Scriptures by the Jewish Church, and therefore were never sanctioned by our Lord.

4. They were not allowed a place among the sacred books, during the first four centuries of the Christian Church.

4. They contain fabulous statements, and statements which contradict not only the canonical Scriptures, but themselves; as when, in the two Books of Maccabees, Antiochus Epiphanes is made to die three different deaths in as many different places.

5. The Apocrypha inculcates doctrines at variance with the Bible, such as prayers for the dead and sinless perfection.

Any account of Mary's life which appears in the Apocrypha but which is not supported by the inspired Canon is deemed unreliable. If the Apocrypha says Mary was a girl, while the Bible refers to Marry as a woman, I choose the Bible.

As for the Catholic Encyclopedia it is not even considered apocryphal, let alone Divinely inspired. The only aspect of the Catholic Encyclopedia that I agree with is its description of Muhammad as a fake prophet and a liar:

"Muhammad perverts almost all the testimonies of the Old and New Testaments by making them into fabrications of his own, as can be seen by anyone who examines his law. It was, therefore, a shrewd decision on his part to forbid his followers to read the Old and New Testaments, lest these books convict him of falsity. It is thus clear that those who place any faith in his words believe foolishly."

I've never understood the muslim fascination with claiming other people's religious figures as their own.
Jesus was NEVER a muslim, none of the Prophets and Patriarchs were muslims.
MOOhaMAD Hadath simply fabricated the koran and wrote fictitious accounts of the lives of Christ, Moses, Solomon etc who were Jews and not Arabs.
The answer to your question lies in The Trinity, but I'm afraid the follower of an illiterate "prophet" will be too slow witted to understand what the Trinity means.

Points are wasted on muslims, so I've decided to use facts instead:

Sahih Muslim (8:3309) - Muhammad consummated his marriage to Aisha when she was only nine. (See also Sahih Bukhari 58:234 and many other places). No where in the reliable Hadith or Sira is there any other age given. Other references are Sahih Bukhari 3896, 5158 and 3311.

Sahih Bukhari (62:18) - Aisha's father, Abu Bakr, wasn't on board at first, but Muhammad explained how the rules of their religion made it possible. This is similar to the way that present-day cult leaders manipulate their followers into similar concessions.

Sahih Muslim (8:3311) - The girl took her dolls with her to Muhammad's house (something to play with when the "prophet" was not having sex with her).

Sahih Bukhari (6:298) - Muhammad would take a bath with the little girl and handle her.

Sahih Muslim (8:3460) - "Why didn't you marry a young girl so that you could sport with her and she sport with you, or you could amuse with her and she could amuse with you?" Muhammad posed this question to one of his followers who had married an "older woman" instead of opting to handle a child.

Sahih Bukhari (4:232) - Muhammad's wives would wash semen stains out of his clothes, which were still wet from the spot-cleaning even when he went to the mosque for prayers. Between copulation and prayer, it's a wonder he found the time to slay pagans.

Sahih Bukhari (6:300) - Muhammad's wives had to be available for the prophet's handling even when they were having their menstrual period.

Sahih Bukhari (93:639) - The Prophet of Islam would recite the 'Holy Quran' with his head in Aisha's lap, when she was menstruating.

Sahih Bukhari (62:6) - "The Prophet used to go round (have sexual relations with) all his wives in one night, and he had nine wives." Muhammad also said that it was impossible to treat all wives equally - and it isn't hard to guess why.

Sahih Bukhari (5:268) - "The Prophet used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number." I asked Anas, 'Had the Prophet the strength for it?' Anas replied, 'We used to say that the Prophet was given the strength of thirty men.' "

Sahih Bukhari (60:311) - "I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires." These words were spoken by Aisha within the context of her husband having been given 'Allah's permission' to fulfill his sexual desires with a large number of women in whatever order he chooses. (It has been suggested that Aisha may have been speaking somewhat wryly).

Sahih Muslim (8:3424) - One of several narrations in which a leering Muhammad orders a clearly startled woman to suckle a grown man with her breast so that he will become "unlawful" to her - meaning that they can live under the same roof together.

Tabari IX:137 - "Allah granted Rayhana of the Qurayza to Muhammad as booty." Muhammad considered the women that he captured and enslaved to be God's gift to him.

Tabari VIII:117 - "Dihyah had asked the Messenger for Safiyah when the Prophet chose her for himself... the Apostle traded for Safiyah by giving Dihyah her two cousins. The women of Khaybar were distributed among the Muslims." He sometimes pulled rank to reserve the most beautiful captured women for himself.

Tabari IX:139 - "You are a self-respecting girl, but the prophet is a womanizer." Words spoken by the disappointed parents of a girl who had 'offered' herself to Muhammad (he accepted).
Notes

Muhammad's sexual antics are an embarrassment to those Muslims who are aware of the truth. This is particularly so with their prophet's consummation of his marriage to Aisha when she was only nine years of age. The thought of a 53-year-old man sleeping and bathing with a young girl is intensely unpleasant and it reflects the disgusting character of a sexual glutton rather than a holy man. Critics even allege that Muhammad was a pedophile.

Your "prophet" was a worthless character so defending him is pointless.

Allah managed to hand down quite a few "revelations" that sanctioned Muhammad's personal pursuit of sex to the doubters around him. Interestingly they have become part of the the eternal, infallible word of the Quran, to be memorized by generations of Muslims for whom they have no possible relevance. Quran (33:37) - "But when Zaid had accomplished his want of her, We gave her to you as a wife, so that there should be no difficulty for the believers in respect of the wives of their adopted sons, when they have accomplished their want of them; and Allah's command shall be performed." No doubt millions of young Muslims, trying to outdo one another at memorizing the Quran, have wondered about what this verse means and why it is there. In fact, this is a "revelation" of convenience that Allah just happened to hand down at a time when Muhammad lusted after his daughter-in-law, Zaynab, - a state of affairs that disturbed local customs. The verse "commands" Muhammad to marry the woman (following her husband's gracious divorce). As for why this should be part of the eternal word of God...?

If I were a muslim, I'd be worried by this koranic verse because Allah instructs MOOhaMAD Hadath to break up the marriage of his adopted son Zaid to Zainab so that MOOhamad can take Zainab for himself.
Imagine a "god" who asks his "prophet" to break up his own son's marriage!
What a religion!

An adopted child is not the same as your child. In fact the prophet was not willing to take Zainab, even though it was not working out between Zayd, until revelation came down.
It was the same "god" that reveal this in the Bible
Deuteronomy 21:18-21 – "If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a profligate and a drunkard." Then all the men of his town shall stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid."
Deuteronomy 20:10-16 – "When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace. If they accept and open their gates, all the people in it shall be subject to forced labor and shall work for you. If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city. When the LORD your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it. As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the LORD your God gives you from your enemies. This is how you are to treat all the cities that are at a distance from you and do not belong to the nations nearby. However, in the cities of the nations the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes."

No. It was not the same GOD. Allah is NOT the God of the Jews and the Christians. Deuteronomy 21:18-21 is simply God's punishment for violating His Commandments: "Honour thy Father and Mother that it may be well with thee" Exodus 20:12

Deutoronomy 20: 10-16 is also God's punishment of the Canaanites for idolatory or the worship of false "gods" (like allah) Exodus 20:3- "Thou shalt have no other gods before me". When the Israelites disobeyed God by worshiping idols, the same punishment was meted out to them. For example, when the Israelites worshipped the Golden Calf when Moses was receiving the Ten Commandments, this is what God did to them: Exodus 32: verse 9 to 10:

“I have seen these people,” the Lord said to Moses, “and they are a stiff-necked people. 10 Now leave me alone so that my anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation

The Christian and Jewish God punishes the sins of his servants no matter who they are: Moses was punished when he sinned, David, Solomon, and Saul were punished when they sinned.

Allah on the other hand ALWAYS justifies MOOhamad's sins. There is no single incident of allah punishing moohamad for all the evil he did. Even if Zaid was an adopted child, it makes absolutely no difference. Moohamad went to Zaid's house and saw the unclothedness of Zaid's wife Zainab and instead of looking away, he began lusting after her! This is the standard for being a "prophet" in Islam.

I'm honestly getting tired of you. You said David died prematurely and I quoted a verse from your Bible to disprove that.
You said Jesus was God and I said Jesus can of himself do nothing and that he is taking instructions from an higher power:
1. Matthew 24:36
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the Son, but the Father only" Here Jesus makes a distinction between what he knows and what the Father knows.
2. Matthew 26:39
"My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me, yet not as I will, but as Thou will." Jesus’ will is likewise autonomous from God’s Will. Jesus is seeking acquiescence to God’s will.
3. John 5:30
"By myself, I can do nothing: I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who has sent me." Jesus says, “by myself, I can do nothing.” This indicates that Jesus is relying upon his own relationship with God. He is not trying to “please myself” but rather is seeking to “please the one who sent me.”
4. Matthew 27:46
"My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Inconceivable if he is God the Creator.

So the punishment for disobeying ones parent should be stoning to death according to Christian and Jewish God.

If Zayd did not object to the commandment of God then what's your stress? You have multiple cases of incest in the Bible and you are here complaining about a man having a legal relationship.

That is exactly the point. What kind of God would allow a "prophet" to look at the unclothedness of another man's wife and even go ahead to instruct him to snatch the wife from her husband? To make matters worse, the woman in question was married to his adopted son! Would MOOhaMAD have died if he didn't marry Zainab? The story of Mohammad and Zainab is well documented in the Qur’an, (Sunna) Hadith, Tafsirs and Sira (reputed history books of Islam) and no Muslim can legally question their authenticity.

Zaid (Zayd) was a freed slave whom Muhammad publicly adopted as his son. According to recorded Islamic history, Muhammad took Zaid to the Black Stone of the Ka’ba and said:

“Bear testimony, all ye that are present. Zaid is my son; I will be his heir and he shall be mine.” (W. Muir, The Life of Muhammad, ed. T.H. Wair, p. 35).

Thereafter, he was called Zaid ibn Muhammad (Zaid the son of Muhammad). Zaid was one of the first persons who accepted Islam. Muhammad chose Zainab (Zaynab) as a wife for Zaid. She was a cousin of Muhammad. The marriage between Zainab and Zaid took place in Medina around the year 626 C.E. when Muhammad became a prominent leader, both religiously and politically, in Arabia. One day Muhammad paid an unexpected visit to the couple but Zaid was not at home. As the wind blew the curtain aside, Muhammad saw Zainab in a near naked (Arabic: hasirah) state and he was moved by the beauty of his daughter-in-law. She quickly dressed up, invited Muhammad into the house and said, “Come in, oh Prophet of God, for you are as my father and my mother to me.” This was in keeping with Arabic tribal tradition, where a daughter-in-law was regarded by the parents of her husband as their own daughter. However, Muhammad went away repeating, “Praise be Allah who changes hearts.”

So according to MOOHAMAD it was allah who planted lust in his heart towards Zainab!

Compare allah's "standards" with that of Christ:

"You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Matthew 5:27-28

Just from this comparison anyone can see that both allah and mohammad were quacks and charlatans.

The Son said: "If it were possible, yet nevertheless, thy will be done" He was obedient to the end.He made the ultimate sacrifice.

As Colossians 1:15-17 specifically says:

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Confusing things you are writing. And the three are aware of Jesus purpose on earth. Thereafter according to the Bible Jesus forgot about the purpose and want the father to let the cup pass over him but the Father was all powerful. Jesus had no choice but to be obedient if not we gonna see fight between 2 gods. Mr don't you think?
