can someone pls help. I got a brand new tecno w5 lite phone. unboxed it and put it on charge. to my greatest surprised it took more than 4hrs for it to charge frm 30% to 100%. I was shocked but concluded dat perhaps its because its my first time of charging and subsequent charging wont have to take dis long. To my surprise its taking upt to 6hrs to charge frm 12% to 100% with the follow come charger even with the data off. what could be the problem. anyone ever experience such b4? I will need an advise or suggestions pls.

NB: Fast charging was clearly stated in d specs

Hello @anthoneg For how long have you used this phone? Try using another USB Cord or get another charger. Otherwise, Visit the Carlcare Service Centre closest to you for assistance.

Someone on nairaland told me his own do charge for 2hours and some mins... From 0-100% he sed he is not using the follow come charger... I later realized is build number is different from mine... What's ya build number... ?

It's like techno fast charging technology is not inbuilt but on the charger. If you are not using the follow come charger, try n get a good n higher output charger. 5.3volt n 2.1 A output. It should give you the good result not forgetting you equally need original USB cable preferable blackberry follow come cable.

OP, what is the input/output value written on the charger?

That could be a major factor, if unsatisfied, you can get a fast charging USB like Kodak.

Depending on your location, I can recommend a carlcare service shop that will attend to you ASAP.

Hi @Pismo Yes. If the Engineer discovers it's faulty, it'll be changed and there'll be an improvement. No charges under warranty.

Are you using the original charger

Might be an issue with the charger. Try changing the USB cord. And if it persists, then straight to Carlcare.
