Having declared interest to contest the presidency of Nigeria Football Federation in August, former secretary-general of then Nigeria Football Association, Alhaji Sani Ahmed Toro has said he is waiting anxiously for the Electoral Committee to roll out the guidelines for him to come out with his campaign programme.
Toro stated that his desire to contest is definitely unflinching, irrespective of the opposition.
“What we will assure Nigerians is that, if Sani Toro is alive and healthy and, if it is the will of Allah, I am going tom contest definitely for the position of the presidency of the Nigeria Football Federation.
“The NFF have set up an election body. We want that body to be inaugurated, then they will have to come out with the guidelines.
“We see the guidelines and then we come out with full force to contest for the NFF position.
We will definitely show how Nigerian football should move forward,” he declared.

What is it with Northerners and NFF? They want to be at the top of everything even when they are not qualified. Toro, Galadima, and Lulu are all responsible for the sorry state of football in Nigeria.

how many northerners play football for us? But we've had northerners running football for donkey yrs. Little wonder the rest of the country is no better. The north rules without producing anything.

This is so frustrating. As long as some greedy ass-kissers in the South continue to look after their own selfish interests, the situation is unlikely to change. I remember that idiot, Galadima, fixing our make or mar match with Angola in Kano because he had political aspirations.
