We were robbed by Fulani herdsmen at Ishagamu, Lagos-Ibadan express way today.

When I was coming back from school, where I had gone to collect my notification of result in preparation for NYSC camping next week, our vehicle, along with other three, was clamped down and ransacked by these guys believed to be Fulani herdsmen.

The two vehicles ahead of us had been stopped abruptly by these men of the underworld which resulted in multiple collisions and serious wreckage. The doors of our vehicle had been affected and would not open. We had to jump out of the bus through the widows. I opted for the driver's window and I landed in a light bush at the middle of the highway with my folder in my hand and we scampered for safety.

Not wanting to be manhandled, roughened injured and bridled from running, I had left my folder (where I had all my academic documents including my notifications of result, NYSC green card and call-up letter, and a phone I newly got) were it landed. I ran into thick bush with my adrenalin reaching crescendo.

I had gone far in the bush before I thought about, and realized, how grievous it was going to be if I could not recover my folder. I tarried in the bush till I was sure everything was okay.

When I was going back to the robbery scene, I saw people emerging from the bush from different angles, shivering and crying. We met some people, whom luck ran out of, seated on the floor: they had severely been battered and injured. We promptly took inventory of our belongings to know our losses. Luckily for me, my folder was where I left it, untouched.

I thank God for my life.
