I always wonder how possible it is for a particular person to be offended by an individual for 490 time in a day before he/she can be able to retaliate.

So, is Matthew 18:21-22 be possible to fulfill meant for our generation?


Matthew 18:21-22(KJV): "21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven."

What d verse is simply saying is u keep on forgiving in as much s u want God to kip forgiving u... forgiveness dunst mean not getting angry...buh wen ur angry mind not to sin..nd also remember to forgiv...without u forgiving God will not forgiv u

Jesus had not given His life when that was said. He spoke under the law. Until His blood was shed, there was no new testament.

Hebrews 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. 9:18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

Now! After that Jesus died and resurrected, we are in the new testament.

Hebrews 7:22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.


In this testament, we don't try to fulfill Matt 18. We are born of love ourselves. How? The Holy Spirit given to us.


Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE OF GOD IS SHED ABROAD IN OUR HEARTS BY THE HOLY GHOST WHICH IS GIVEN UNTO US.

That's why John said,


1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

To be born again is to be born of God. Right?

Now see

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

We have capacity to love. It's in our heart. We just love. We don't Labour to do. We just let love out.
