It is an island nation..... it is considered part of France's 13 regions but they enjoy some good autonomy as a political state.

Corsica boasts fine footballers playing for Clubs like SC Bastia of France, Ajaccio of France, Marseille of France and even more.... Players that play for Corsica must be from the region...
or have parents or grandparents hailing from the regions... or must have any bloodties with the region at all.

It is the same as when we played Catalonia during Keshi's time in the run-up to our Nations cup win in 2013. That match ended 1-1 and boasted players who hails from Catalan region of Spain and plays for Espanyol, Malaga, Barcelona and more....

Corse is not yet a country of it's own,corse is still under france though they are agitating for seccession.Corse comprise of Ajaccio,Bastia and part of Nice etc if i am not mistaken,i will do my research but i can confirm they are still part of france,Monaco principality is still under france so i am sure corse is still under france.
