The Benue Tech Forum held a 3 day workshop last week at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The workshop centered on Web Development, Social media and digital marketing. BENUE TECH FORUM(BTF) SUCCESSFULLY ROUNDS UP 3-DAY ''KICK-OFF'' WORKSHOP ON WEB DEVELOPMENT, SOCIAL MEDIA, DIGITAL MARKETING & BLOGGING TECHNIQUES.

Benue Tech Forum(BTF), the trailblazers of the first ever tech forum and also the fastest growing tech forum in Benue state last week (18th to 20th May) held and successfully concluded her three day workshop on web development, social Media, Digital Marketing and blogging techniques tagged KICK-OFF.

The workshop which was targeted at Developers, ICT enthusiasts, Web Designers, Bloggers etc took place at the Benue State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Headquarters Makurdi from 18TH TO 20TH MAY 2017 and attendance/participation to this workshop was totally free.

The need to hold such a workshop was informed by the forum's resolve to create a tech eco system in Benue state and also equip tech inclined people in Benue state with contemporary ICT skills to help them compete in the modern world.

The workshop featured resource persons such as Jide Ogunsanya (CEO, Ogbonge Blog) who lectured participants extensively on the various ways of making money via blogging advertisements, Tsenongo Ngutor Stephen (Software Developer, Sysmax Technologies) who took participants through on Web Development and Jev Peter Babayola (CEO and Co Founder; HypeMag) who lectured participants on blogging techniques.

Through initiatives such as these, BTF is seeking to create business opportunities for Tech users such as Bloggers, ICT stakeholders, Programmers, Digital Marketers and Social Media enthusiasts by empowering them with the right skills and the necessary support to help them get the best out of technology by way of monetizing their content online and also creating opportunities for them to leverage technology in order for self sustainment in the Digital. With this, Benue Tech Forum intends to take a cue from the other states such as Lagos, Abuja and Kaduna and thereby make Benue state a tech-eco system as well as an incubation centre.
