Irked by frequent petitions and complaints from the Lagos residents and its environs to the office of Lagos State Police Commissioner, the police boss has cursed officers who collect bribe before they do their jobs or collaborate with criminals.

The State Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, on Wednesday, warned Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), including the rank and files in the state police command to shun bribery or leave the state.

The commissioner made the statement during a lecture on Code of Conduct for Law Enforcement Officers at the Police Officers’ Wives’ Association (POWA) Hall, Ikeja.
