According to a report shared by an online user,there was commotion in Onitsha today after corrupt policemen caused accident that led to the death of a pregnant woman,her two children and another lady who was trying to cross the road along Onitsha/Owerri road.

According to report,the policemen were posted to guide Dangote's depot.Instead,they left their duty post and blocked the main road.They were collecting bribe from keke drivers,motorists and others.Due to their recklessness,a keke driver was suddenly stopped by them while a fast moving truck was coming.While trying to avoid the keke driver,the truck crushed a pregnant woman and her two kids dead.Another lady who was also trying to cross the road was killed.

Angry mob stormed the scene and set Dangote's depot ablaze while policemen took to their heels.

If our youths can consider this a task: Nigerians all over, especially motorists, should be told to stop giving bribe to the police. Of course. there will be lots of arrests at the inception. When that becomes the case, the youths should take it upon themselves to free whomever that is arrested unjustly. We can get things right if we want.

I passed through that road this evening, as usual the Nigerian police has arrested nothing less than 50 persons already. And I have no doubt that 90% of those arrested are innocent passerby who came to the scene to watch what happened.

Accident caused by Policemen, A truck driver who tried to save the life of a Keke rider and the passengers in it but ran into a womon her kids and a lady killing them. Victims: the dead people and Dangote cement. The causer: Police officers. I don't see any sense in the actions of the people. Why didn't they go burn down the police station?

Why burn the dangote depot? The depot suffered a double tradegy. It wasn't manned and now its been razed by the irate mob.

Was there live, just that I couldn't take pics. Two police men were killed, one set ablaze while the other one received a heavy deep cut in the throat.
They were about four police men employed by the white men at the dangote's construction site there but these men saw it as a means of extorting money from motorists.
After the whole incidents, two of the police men fled, while the other two were claiming James bond by calming things down, before angry mob descended on them from behind

And some fools dey change police name.
