7 Not 10,000 Candidates Were Arrested In Anambra During Exams – JAMB by nwabobo: 4:52pm On May 27, 2017 |
The Joint Admissions Matriculations Board (JAMB) said seven, not 10,000 candidates were arrested for their involvement in malpractices during this year’s exams. It said it is falsehood that as much as 10,000 candidates who sat for its exams in Anambra were arrested for malpractices. JAMB coordinator in Anambra state, Mrs Lynda Aja-Nwachukwu, said the true position is that only seven people were arrested by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). She, however, said that the examination in the state was a huge success and that plans were on to build on it to achieve more successes. Aja-Nwachukwu said that some problems identified like candidates not being able to print at some examination centres, would soon be a thing of the past, adding that JAMB was prepared to give the best examination process in the country. Recall that there had been reports that about 10,000 persons were involved in examination malpractice in Anambra during the JAMB exams, all of which were reportedly arrested by security agents. http://dailypost.ng/2017/05/24/7-not-10000-candidates-arrested-anambra-exams-jamb/ 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Kondomatic: Think of the logistical nightmare involved in arresting 10 thousand people during a one day exam (I'm assuming JAMB is still a one day exam). 9 Likes |

This goes to show how wicked and evil the south can be to each other, during the 2015 elections no electoral fraud was reported or investigated in the North. Everything went on perfectly okay, card readers working well even illiterate mallams and almajiris voted correctly in both cities and villages. But down here in the south we were talking, fighting and pulling each other down in the streets, media and law courts for God knows what. The south is the problem of the south 9 Likes 1 Share |
