Please webmasters i have been confused about this, should i set my blog to target "Nigeria" or leave it unticked in Google Webmaster Tools. Note: The domain is from 'Go Daddy" so if i leave it unticked it shows by default United States. Can someone with experience tell me how to go about this please |

If you're targeting a Nigerian audience with NO plans of going global, then set it to Nigeria. Otherwise, leave it as it is. 2 Likes 1 Share |

nigeria visitors will kill your rmp and may be getting like 100k visitors a day but but due to because it's naija visitors your earnings will be too poor... so is either you target foreign visitors and still post nigeria stuffs 1 Like |

If your content are specifically for Nigerians then target Nigeria that does not mean that when u publish a unique global post it wont appear in other countries 1 Like |

Target Nigeria. Most searches done in Nigeria are done via Google.com.ng. Your keywords won't have to compete with all the sites in the world to make it to front page. |

if your audience based is Nigeria, then tick it. But if your blog is something like religious or whatever that concerns the international communities, then uncheck the box for effective exposure |

the question is who are your audience. if you blog for global reach, then leave it but if it is specifically for Nigerians, then tick naija. |
