The Nigerian Stock Exchange released the list of top ten Brokers performance for the week (05/06/2017 – 09/06/2017).

The fresh data pushed into the capital market has shown that 54.50% of the total transactions for the week in terms of value were handled by 10 brokers, amounting to 32,014,085,452.01. Also, the top 10 Stockbrokers are responsible for 36.36% of the total volume between (05/06/2017 – 09/06/2017).

This NSE, which revealed this in its Broker Performance Report, showed that STANBIC IBTC STOCKBROKERS LIMITED traded 417,715,162 shares, which accounted for 6.65 per cent of the exchange’s total trading volume. It was followed by RENCAP SECURITIES (NIG) LIMITED with 300,216,956 shares and CSL STOCKBROKERS LIMITED with 246,645,053 shares, representing 4.78 per cent and 3.93 per cent of total volume respectively.

By value, STANBIC IBTC STOCKBROKERS LIMITED traded 5,916,259,157.50 Naira which represents 10.07% of the exchange’s total trading value while RENCAP SECURITIES (NIG) LIMITED and CSL STOCKBROKERS LIMITED traded 5,286,540,804.87 Naira (9.00%) and 4,640,575,137.61 Naira (7.90%) respectively.
