Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has gotten an endorsement from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to offer 31 courses, including Quantity Survey, Metallurgy and Leisure and Tourism Management.

The Rector of the polytechnic, Alhaji Mas'ud Elelu, revealed this while talking with writers in Ilorin.

Different courses that got reaccreditation for National Diploma (ND) were Mineral Resources and Petroleum Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Building Technology, Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Office Technology Management, Estate Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Technology and Statistics.

The polytechnic will likewise offer Higher National Diploma (HND) in various courses; Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Office Technology Management and Building Technology for the polytechnic. The board likewise gave its endorsement to the polytechnic to run HND in: Survey and Geo-informatics, Science Laboratory Technology, Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology
