Apple on it , WWDC, promises to released it new operating system, iOS11, this fall. It also says that the OS will be available for free download till the end of this year. If you own one of Apple phones, you will want to know if your device is among the smartphones made by Apple that are compatible with iOS11. Well you do not need to ask anymore! Why?

Apple has release a list of its' phones that can use the new iOS immediately it is released. These are listed below:

For the iPhone series, the following are compatible. iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE and iPhone 5s.

The iPad series include-12.9-inch iPad Pro, 2nd generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro, 1st generation 10.5-inch iPad Pro, 9.7-inch iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad, 5th generation, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3 and iPad mini 2.

Apple iPod touch 6th generation is also compatible.

So, if you use any of the above Apple devices do not not need to border yourself on this issue. All you need to do is wait for Apple to finally release iOS11 and next download it to update your operating system.
