Many people in Nigeria need psychiatric tests and help, not just traffic lawbreakers.

Nice idea. But as usual, it will not work. Because nothing works in Nigeria.
Either the FRSC officials will be collecting bribes to let offenders go (which they have been doing since time immemorial), or those public hospitals that are already over flooded with patients and grumpy underpaid staff will just be handing out "Normal Mental Health" certificates to everyone that comes along.
nothing works in this fvcked country grin

FRSC bribe don increase be that. 10k or u go for mental test

Rubbish idea. Now who is going to be responsible for the bill for the test. I suspect they have created one hospital where money will change hand. Bicos they will not do anything without looking for way to make money from it.

Rubbish!!! Unacceptable!! What nonsense. Mediocrity to the highest level. Raodsafety clowns. The state of Federal Roads have they taken it up with the Ministry in Charge? Accident happens, do they have what to test drivers if they are drunk? They just want to frustrate those they catch. Kwontinue. Nigerians obey traffic rules. Do they really know traffic rules too? It's not about psychological evaluation. Infringing on my right and privacy. An insult. Pay fine and after repeated violation loose your license for a period. Clowns and a bunch of charlatans

So why won't the bastard FRSC start with Government convoys, military persons driving their private or official cars against traffic, bullion vans and police officials who don't obey traffic laws and drive against the flow of traffic?

Booooom! Head shot to the idiots whose first inclination is to generate revenue than saving lives.

Oga Boboye! You can't expect other spheres of the country to be staggered and expect sane people to drive on our roads! The economic and political quagmire alone in this country is enough to drive one crazy! Okay check your organisation, is the recruitment process of the FRSC normal, most of the officers you recruit find it very difficult to understand ordinary high-way codes! Then you are here, feeling like you have the sole right and moral tenet to analyse the sanity of Nigerians abi?

Good; as long as our police and politician who always break traffic rules are cut and tested.

Lol this funny what happened to good old fashioned tickets, suspended licenses and jail time. People complaining are probably crazy drivers grin. I got my license in US but driving in Nigera too stressful. Nobody signals, respects right of way, nobody stays in their lane, roads aren't marked etc.

Saving lives doesn't put money in their pocket, but generating revenue does.

I'm afraid Nigeria is a mess! Every security force in the country has modelled itself after the the Nigerian Police force whose bread and butter is the mounting of road blocks and extorting money from motorists under funny pretext. It was never to watch the road for dangers and criminal activities. The FRSC has been a good student of the Nigerian Police force.

I believe their grand master of all is Nigeria Customer Service. Here, colleagues even go as far as using 'juju' on themselves just to salvage whatever they can from bribery and corruption.

Brother, Nigeria is a mess is an understatement. Nigeria is now synonymous to everything that is anti progress and evil.
